Cancellation & Returns - Buckley Landscape Supplies
This policy sets out your rights to cancel your order and return goods purchased from Buckley Landscape Supplies Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).
1. Your Right to Cancel
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you may cancel your order at any time from placing your order up to 14 days after receiving your goods.
a) If you wish to cancel your order after despatch but before delivery, we will refund the cost of the goods only, excluding any delivery charges already incurred.
b) You will receive an email once your order has been despatched.
2. Business Orders
Where goods are intended for purposes related to your trade, business or profession, and you are not acting as a consumer, the cancellation rights under clause 1 do not apply. You may only cancel or return goods in accordance with clause 4 below.
3. Returns Process for Cancelled Orders
If you cancel your order and wish to return the goods, the following applies:
a) Please contact Buckley Landscape Supplies in writing, by email, or by post, using the contact details provided on our website: www.buckleylandscapesupplies.com
b) To help us improve our service, we may ask for your reason for returning the goods.
c) Goods must be returned complete, unused, and undamaged, packaged and palleted as delivered.
d) Once we are notified of your cancellation, we will refund any sums paid for the goods (excluding shipping) within 14 days of receiving your notice, provided the goods are returned and received in their original condition.
e) Customers are responsible for the cost of returning goods unless the item is faulty or incorrect (see clause 4).
f) If you do not return the goods or fail to pay the return delivery costs, we reserve the right to deduct the direct cost of recovery from your refund.
Please note: The right to cancel under clause 1 does not apply to perishable products such as turf or made-to-order garden buildings (see clause 9).
4. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods
If goods are faulty, damaged, do not comply with your statutory rights, or if we have supplied the wrong goods:
a) Contact Buckley Landscape Supplies using the details above within seven (7) days of discovering the issue.
b) We may ask for clear photographs of the goods and packaging to verify the fault or damage.
c) If we agree the goods are faulty or incorrect, we will arrange collection at our expense and offer either a replacement or a full refund within 14 days.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
5. Packaging Damage in Transit
If only the packaging is damaged in transit but the goods themselves are undamaged, this will not give rise to a right to return or refund.
6. Perishable Goods (Turf)
Turf is a highly perishable product and must be laid promptly in accordance with the care instructions provided.

In spring/summer, turf should be laid immediately upon delivery.

In autumn/winter, turf should be laid within 24 hours of delivery, unless otherwise advised at the time of order.
We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for turf that deteriorates due to delayed laying or improper handling after delivery. Please ensure you are ready to lay turf before agreeing to a delivery date.
7. Condition of Natural Products
The ongoing condition of turf, topsoil, and compost depends on factors outside our control, including weather, drainage, and maintenance after delivery. We will not accept returns or refunds for any deterioration or defect occurring after delivery due to care, storage, or environmental factors.
8. Naturally Sourced Materials
Many of our products — including gravel, turf, topsoil, compost, sand, aggregates, slate, stones, logs, bark, and mulch — are naturally sourced materials.
Natural variations in size, colour, texture, or shape are to be expected. Returns will not be accepted for reasonable variations in appearance or composition.
9. Garden Buildings (Made-to-Order Items)
Our garden buildings, sheds, and summerhouses are made to order based on your chosen size, specification, and finish.
Because these products are manufactured to your individual requirements, they are non-refundable and non-returnable once production has begun.

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it without penalty.

After this time, production will commence, and we cannot accept cancellations, returns, or refunds unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

If a garden building arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within seven (7) days of delivery with supporting photographs. We will repair, replace, or refund the affected item at our expense.
This policy complies with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, which exempt made-to-order and custom-built goods from standard cancellation rights.
10. Refund Timescale
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or your cancellation notice (whichever is later), provided all return conditions are met.
